Ask a Question

Is the input voltage of the drive (ULN) a true value or is it just calculated?

All Altivars uses the same method  to measure the mains voltage.

Input voltage of the drive ULN is calculated according to the DC bus voltage to determine the mains voltage (line supply).
In the monitor menu it will display "Mains Voltage". If you multiply this value by 1.414 (sq root of 2) the result will be the value of the DC bus
The accuracy depends of the type of application (motor mode or generator mode, with or without load).
According to the situation
-    Optimal accuracy when no load, or no motor current is <5%.
-    When load apply on motor accuracy is around 10-15%.
In generator mode: Information is not significant because DCbus value increase
