BACnet - How do I find out the ethernet MAC Address

Connect the BACnet Gateway to the ethernet network, connect your PC to the same network and making sure the IP of the LAN and PC are in the same subnet of the BACnet Gateway.
Go to a command prompt and type: arp -a xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx. etc is the IP of the BACnet
This will respond with the Internet Address (IP), Physical Address (MAC) and Type ie: dynamic
The MAC is sometimes required by the IT Administrator to reserver that BACnet Gateway IP in their DNS/DHCP Server to avoid any furture IP conflict's
