Australia – August 23, 2017 – Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, is expanding its expertise and responding to customer needs within the IT Division, with the announcement of two new roles:
• Karthik Iyer has been appointed as National Sales Manager, Industrial & Commercial
• Vishal Nayak has been appointed as National Sales Manager, Data Centre Ecosystem & Edge
“The new roles help position us to respond to the investment, growth and transformation we’re seeing across the industrial and commercial industries, and the ongoing investment in the Data Centre Ecosystem and the rise of the Edge. This change allows us to continue empowering the digital transformation of our customers by ensuring their critical network, systems and processes are highly available and resilient,” said Joe Craparotta, Vice President - IT Business, Vice President - Strategic Customers & Segments at Schneider Electric.
“I am pleased to see Karthik and Vishal now positioned in new leadership roles that will focus on making sure Schneider Electric serves the needs of our channel partners and customers by being even more closely aligned with market segments and industry solutions,” said Mr Craparotta.
Karthik Iyer has been with Schneider Electric for almost a year and his promotion to National Sales Manager, Industrial & Commercial will see him lead the company’s industrial and commercial sales team. The team will be looking after a range of segments, including, but not limited to Infrastructure, Water and Utilities.
With 6 years’ experience at Schneider Electric, Vishal Nayak’s appointment as National Sales Manager, Data Centre Ecosystem & Edge will see him take charge of the company’s data centre ecosystem and edge sales team. The team will work to provide reliable IT solutions covering a variety of segments including, but not limited to Education & Research, Retail and Healthcare.
Schneider Electric IT Division’s new sales management structure commenced on 7 August 2017.
