The 2010 acquisition of SCADAGroup, a leading Australian-based provider of telemetry products and solutions, concludes as Control Microsystems, TRIO Datacom and Serck Controls become fully integrated into the folds of the Schneider Electric Australia Industry Business.

With immediate effect, all components and solutions previously offered by the above-mentioned specialists brands will be identifiable as ranges of Schneider Electric.

These offers include:

• SCADA software - allowing consolidation and monitoring of key process information (ClearSCADA)
• Radio communication devices - for the transmission of information, (TRIO)
• Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) - that collect and consolidate information from the field (Control Microsystems)
• Wireless Sensors - to monitor key variables such as flow, temperature and pressure (Accutech)

This integration provides an even greater solution scope to the already vast portfolio of power distribution, automation, control and security solutions offered by Schneider Electric to it’s water/waste water, oil & gas and process driven customers.

In addition to this expanded product portfolio, Schneider Electric is also able to offer extensive telemetry competencies including design, project management, execution and value added services.
