07/04/2016 – Schneider Electric inaugurates its first energy training centre in Ivory Coast
Inauguration of a new vocational training centre in the field of energy in Abidjan, initiated in partnership with the Ministry of State, Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Professional Training for The Republic of Ivory Coast (MEMEASFP) and the development centre for building trades (CPM-Bat).

Partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the industry-led Power Sector Skill Council (PSSC) to co-promote a Centre of Excellence and support training of electricians for underprivileged youth in one hundred Government approved skill development centres.
