Schneider Electric’s GenieEvo switchgear range has a wide variety of functional units to meet the needs for primary distribution. It offers a unique demountable vacuum circuit breaker in a compact and easy to use metal enclosure.

Unlike conventional vacuum switchgear, the isolators in GenieEvo are sealed in an Earth screened cast resin enclosure containing controlled air, which eliminates the need for regular cleaning of the copper contacts throughout the life of the product. The simplicity of design and operation make the GenieEvo an attractive option and high level protection is also a feature. Designers are able to choose pre-engineered solutions or engineered solutions for individual requirements, and the range is suitable for use in public distribution, heavy industry, hospitals, water treatment plants and finance facilities.

The compact footprint of the GenieEvo range allows users to keep substation costs down, as well as enabling provision for future switchboard extensions.
